Pirelli SuperCorsa Pro 180/55 or 190/55?

Postby Titus318 » Fri Sep 08, 2006 5:17 pm

Hello,

I have a question for fellow racers. I have a GSX-R 600 (2004) race bike. I have Marchesini Forged rims on my bike. They are FR 3.5 / RR 6.0. I run Pirelli SuperCorsa Pro on the bike FR 120 / RR 180. I was thinking about going to the 190/55 Pirelli rear. I am looking for a little more contact patch in the corners. At race pace I am starting to spin the back up coming out of turn 2, 7, 14 and 17a at VIR. I run the Blue front and Green Rear (supersoft and soft). I am wondering how the turn in will be. Will it be roughly the same or a little more effort to lean the bike over? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Suspension on bike is Penske Front internals and a Penske Triple Rear.
All done by Solid Performance. Bike geometry is setup for Pirelli tires. Bike built at Speedwerks by Steve.
