It's been dipping into the 30's up here, and sometimes the 20's early in the morning, so I've moved indoors for the most part. Cool thing though, the built a new American Family that has some cool virtual reality bikes that are a lot of fun and have a ton of courses and a pace rider. I amazed how good of a workout it is....

I've pretty much moved everything inside and ride on my Tacx Fortius with VR and real life video. It's not riding outside......but it's a hell of a lot better than a normal trainer.

Funny you should post this.
I just got back from FL visiting my parents for Xmas. I'd prefer to call it, "Aaron's Winter Training Week" and Christmas was a great excuse to be in FL!!

So I was "slumming" today here in NC in the 62º weather with long tights and winter top (Cornerspeed official kit of course!!) and yep, I was rolling for a little while that turned into a longer while and finally rolled onto my street just short of 50 miles. It was a rock'n day. Glad you had one too!!

Unfortunately, the Arctic air is on it's way and we won't get many more days like this.

Also, have you been reading up on velonews.com and cyclingnews.com? Next year is going to be really interesting for cycling. It will be equally interesting for our world too with DMG's changes and Kawasaki dropping out of MotoGP.

Happy New Year to everyone!!!

So later today, Versus will have a 30 minute recap of the opening stage of the Tour Down Under. The first stage is a criterium. This is Lance's first race of 2009. So the season is underway.

And just a few more weeks until the motorsports season is rock'n.

Just watched the 30 minute Tour Down Under daily recap on Versus. Pretty cool to see Lance at the front driving the peloton.

By the way, just to get this thread going again....as I am about to hop on this thing again today, what's everyone on. I know we've mentioned what we have on here before but let's see some pics. Here's one to my F75, Felt. Love it, needs some new wrap on the bars, but other than that this is a great ride.

Hope everyone is well and getting out in some of this great weather.

That thing is sick, we've had some awesome weather up here. I rode from Richmond to Williamsburg yesterday, roughly 80 miles for me round trip but it's really flat, very fast too. Lot of motorcycles out too, Rt 5 is a sick ride, the trees form a canopy and is really pretty right about now.

My knee has been giving me fits over the winter so I'm trying to get in some miles and keep it mostly to spinning at 85+ rpm. So far it seems to be helping..........very very slowly. :(

Unfortunately not. Theo Bos, former world track sprint champion, didn't even get a reprimand for yanking the yellow jersey holder off his bike. Lance posted on his twitter that he thought it was a disgrace. I have to agree. I can't believe such an egregious foul didn't get a serious suspension.

Hey, what comes around goes around. It will be interesting to see if Bos ends up on the ground before the end of the year. :smt077

BTW, Sig, you going to ride the Booty this year? I blocked the dates so I won't have to cut out early like last year.
